Logistics

  • The Fair is held rain or shine.
  • FREE STREET PARKING available throughout the neighborhood. 
  • Greene Street will be closed between Sedgwick and Westview; Carpenter Lane will be closed between McCallum and Sherman.
  • Using SEPTA? The H bus stops at Carpenter & McCallum (one block parallel to Greene). The 53 bus stops at Carpenter & Wayne (four blocks parallel to Greene). The R8/Chestnut Hill West Regional Rail stops at Upsal Station (about 5-6 blocks from Carpenter Lane), and at Carpenter Station (about 4 blocks from Greene St.).

Pet Parade: 11:15am

Bring your (calm) pets (dogs, cats, ducks, iguanas--even stuffed animals)! Animals dressed according to the ZERO-WASTE theme (reuse/recycle/repurpose) will be eligible to win a ribbon! (No costume required to participate, though!)

Pie-eating Contest: 1:15pm

Sponsored by the High Point Cafe. One contest for adults, a separate one for kids. Blueberry pie for all! Registration at the Cafe on Fair day only.
